6 | PENNY | REWE GROUP Results and directions in 2025 We are pleased to present the achievements of PENNY Romania in 2025 through this report. In the current context, marked by pressure on consumption and challenges in supply chains, we managed to maintain our growth direction and achieve our proposed objectives. In 2025, we continued to demonstrate agility and adaptability, strengthening our proximity to customers and offering them quality products and services, aligned with their needs and expectations. The year 2025 was also an anniversary year: we marked 20 years since opening the first PENNY stores in Romania. We celebrated together with our colleagues who have been with us since the beginning and shared this joy with all our customers. Below are the achievements of the past year for each of the seven strategic pillars of PENNY Romania. We continued the expansion of the network in 2025, reaching a total of 456 stores nationwide. Throughout the year, we opened 40 new units and continued investments in the development of logistics infrastructure. This certification contributes to optimizing resource consumption and improving the environmental performance of the network. All newly opened stores are BREEAM In Use certified. | 7 2025 The supply chain is organized through central warehouses, allowing goods to be transported from producers to warehouses using high-capacity, fully loaded trucks. Thanks to this approach, transportation costs included in the purchase price are lower, which ultimately allows for a lower selling price for customers. Private labels: We continue to develop our private label portfolio, aiming to increase their share in the assortment and offer customers quality products at affordable prices. PENNY private labels represent a competitive alternative to national brands, maintaining quality standards with an advantageous price–value ratio. Logistics: The store network is served by five logistics centers—located in Ștefăneștii de Jos, Turda, Bacău, Filiași, and Mihăilești—which ensure efficient supply and product freshness nationwide. The completion of the fifth logistics center in Mihăilești, Giurgiu County, increased storage and distribution capacity at national level and supports operational flexibility in the context of accelerated network expansion. Close collaboration with local suppliers, including through the 3RO program, contributes to shorter transport distances and improved supply chain efficiency. Shopping experience: In 2025, we continued to optimize the shopping experience by expanding areas dedicated to fresh products, developing the ready to eat assortment, and improving in store flows to ensure a faster and more intuitive customer journey. We continued to develop the 3RO initiative, through which we support local producers and offer customers products whose main ingredient comes from Romania, and which are processed and packaged locally. In 2025, 88% of our suppliers are Romanian companies, and 68% of turnover comes from products manufactured in Romania. The 3RO assortment represents 55% of turnover. The 3RO program remains a strategic initiative, contributing to the development of the local economy and the consolidation of short supply chains. In addition, we continued to develop the private label segment in order to remain aligned with our discounter structure. Moreover, freshness is one of our priorities. It is our priority that every PENNY employee feels valued and has the assurance of a stable job. Our team consists of 8,000 colleagues who work every day with passion and dedication. We ensure our colleagues benefit from an extensive package of benefits, such as additional vacation days, private health insurance, performance bonuses, and meal vouchers. 8 | PENNY | REWE GROUP and their integration into the shopping experience, aiming to respond to customer needs and offer greater flexibility in interaction with the PENNY brand. Partnerships with delivery platforms such as Bolt Food, Glovo, Wolt, and Bringo were further developed, providing customers with quick access to PENNY products through home delivery services. In 2025, we also launched a new partnership with Bolt Food. Through the Click & Collect service, customers can place orders online via the PENNY app or website and pick up their products from the selected store at the chosen time. At the same time, we continued to develop our own digital services, including the PENNY mobile app, which integrates loyalty mechanisms, personalized offers, and customer benefits. We also expanded existing partnerships, such as Bonapp by Munch, through which we save products close to their expiration date from food waste. At the operational level, we continued investments in digitalization and automation to improve internal processes and support network development. continuous monitoring and improvement of energy consumption in stores and logistics centers. Infrastructure investments included energy efficiency solutions such as modern refrigeration equipment, efficient lighting, and optimized operating systems, contributing to reduced resource consumption. We also continued to expand collaboration with local suppliers and through the 3RO program, helping reduce transport distances and strengthen the local economy. In 2025, we supported community projects and programs ranging from education and sports to culture and environmental protection. Sustainability remains an integrated component of the PENNY business model, reflected both in network development and daily operations. We maintained the implementation of the ISO 50001 energy management standard, which allows 2025 brought the “Forms of Love” campaign, the “From Human to Human” Caravan, and the “From human to Human” podcast – all projects dedicated to celebrating 20 years of PENNY in Romania. We also communicated the documentary “Soul Generation” about the Romanian national football team and the third edition of the “PENNY Points League”. We supported the “The Yellow Tie“ film dedicated to conductor Sergiu Celibidache. We were present at festivals and sports competitions across the country, and our internal brand ambassador program, “PENNY Voice”, continued to grow. | 11 2025 About the company ABOUT REWE GROUP PENNY Romania is part of the REWE Group, one of the leading retail and tourism groups in Germany and Europe. The Group’s values are clear and transparent and form the foundation for conducting commercial activities in a responsible manner. PENNY IN ROMANIA Starting in 2005, we have invested in the development of local communities, with responsibility toward people and the environment. That was the year we opened our first stores in Romania and gained immediate confidence in our ability to successfully deliver our ambitious expansion plans. In 2020, 15 years after entering the Romanian market under the PENNY Market brand, we decided to accelerate our national expansion under the new, single brand PENNY. As a result, starting in 2020, we began a new strategic cycle based on seven development pillars: expansion, discounter profile and improved shopping experience, products from Romania, PENNY people, digitalization, sustainability, and integrated communication. 2025 was a special anniversary year – we marked 20 years of presence on the Romanian market. Our long-term strategy targets 1,000 stores and investments of 3 billion euros by 2035.

| 13 2025 Expansion Without a doubt, one of the most important achievements of the year was the continued expansion of the PENNY network nationwide and the strengthening of our market position. In 2025, we closed the year with 456 stores in Romania, adding 40 new stores to the network. Throughout the year, we continued to invest in logistics infrastructure. Last year also saw the completion of the fifth logistics center in Romania, located in Mihăilești, Giurgiu County. Currently, all newly opened stores are BREEAM In Use certified. The certification assesses, among other aspects, employee well being, energy efficiency, water consumption, waste management, maintenance, as well as environmental and community impact. We continue our expansion plans and aim to invest in the development of the network, with the objective of reaching 1,000 stores by 2035 and further expanding logistics capacity. We are pleased to get closer to our customers across all regions of the country and to actively contribute to the growth of the Romanian economy through sustainable, fair operations aligned with the needs of Romanian consumers.

All stores in our network have a uniform layout, with products placed directly on pallets and selected based on the top of mind principle across all categories. Customers find extended areas dedicated to fresh products and private labels in PENNY stores, with clear signage for promotions and essential product categories. In addition, stores offer convenient solutions for customers with a dynamic lifestyle, including a wide range of ready to eat products, semi prepared items, as well as refrigerated and frozen options tailored to everyday needs. We continuously adapt to offer customers a faster and improved shopping experience, especially for those with an active lifestyle, by providing selfcheckout lanes, particularly suitable for smaller shopping baskets.

| 19 2025 Private labels – quality at affordable prices We continuously develop our private label portfolio, with the objective of offering customers quality products at affordable prices, available exclusively in our stores. These ranges cover all essential categories – from basic food products, dairy, cured meats, and traditional preparations to beverages and household items – ensuring an optimal balance between quality and price, in line with our discounter DNA. Efficient logistics supporting freshness and quality Our infrastructure is the backbone that ensures consistent supply and product freshness on the shelves. Our network is served by five strategically located logistics centers in Ștefăneștii de Jos, Turda, Bacău, Filiași, and Mihăilești, aimed at reducing transport distances, limiting environmental impact, and improving supply chain efficiency.

20 | PENNY | REWE GROUP At PENNY, the assortment is built around a simple principle: quality, fresh products at competitive prices. Whether we are talking about fresh meat, seasonal fruits and vegetables, dairy products, bread and bakery items, or the extended private label range, every product reaches the shelf only after meeting strict selection, control, and food safety standards. Food quality and safety Quality is a process built on solid principles and continuous improvement. For private label products, our quality control system starts at the product development and supplier selection stage and covers the entire chain – from production to shelf and to the customer. out by specialists, and in stores they are inspected every two hours to ensure that only products in optimal condition are displayed on shelves. Compliance with requirements regarding pesticide residues and contaminants is verified through periodic testing conducted by accredited institutes. Fresh meat – pork, beef, and chicken – comes from animals born, raised, and slaughtered in Romania, sourced from IFS certified suppliers. Upon arrival at central warehouses, all meat products undergo thorough inspections. Strict control of the cold chain, from warehouse to shelf, guarantees freshness and shelf life. 100% of the fresh beef, chicken, and pork meat sold in PENNY stores in Romania aligns with our 3RO objective. PENNY Private Labels PENNY private labels represent one of the central pillars of our assortment and are available exclusively in our stores, offering customers high quality products at attractive prices. Compliance with production facility certification requirements, as well as with standards regarding product composition and quality, are essential criteria when initiating collaboration with any new private label supplier. Before any private label product is launched on the market, our teams define the labeling information to ensure that it is as clear, simple, and easy to understand as possible. TripleRO — products with the main ingredient sourced from Romania, processed and packaged locally At PENNY, we leverage the potential of local production and offer customers Romanian products that are fresh and meet their needs. Through the TripleRO program, we place on our shelves products whose main ingredient comes from Romania and which are processed and packaged locally. 22 | PENNY | REWE GROUP Last year, we launched the study “Assessment of the economic and social impact of the retail sector in Romania”, carried out by the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. The key conclusions of the study showed that TripleRO (3RO) is a driver of local economic growth, while also highlighting strategic directions for retail development: • Significant contribution to GDP: the retail sector plays an active role in the Romanian economy, both through direct activity and by stimulating supply chains and the local food industry. • Differences between imports and exports of agri food products, leading to a trade deficit: imports mainly consist of processed foods and plant products (e.g. vegetables, fruits, and other processed food items), while exports are lower and consist mainly of raw materials, indicating the need for balanced trade policies • Impact of short supply chains and local production: previous studies carried out in partnership with the Bucharest University of Economic Studies have highlighted concrete opportunities for the development of Romanian businesses in industries such as agriculture, packaging, and food processing.

At the same time, we were proud to have 91 colleagues with 20 years of experience within the company alongside us. We rewarded their professionalism and determination to do things right throughout this time. Top Employer in Romania in 2025 For the fourth consecutive year, we received the Top Employer in Romania certification. This title is awarded by the Top Employers Institute, an international authority in the field of human resources. 24 | PENNY | REWE GROUP Digitalization The online commerce solutions we develop complement our extensive store network and respond to customers’ need for flexible shopping options, at the same affordable prices. We are present on the Bolt Food, Glovo, Wolt, and Bringo platforms, offering access to fresh products delivered directly to customers’ doors. Starting in April 2025, we launched our partnership with the Bolt Food app. This partnership represents a new step in strengthening PENNY’s presence in the online shopping segment. We respond to the growing demand for fast and efficient deliveries by providing customers with easy access to the products they want, directly through our partner’s app. We combine digitalization with food waste reduction. Our collaboration with the Bonapp by Munch app offers customers 50% discounts on products that are close to their expiration date but are still suitable for consumption. In 2025, hundreds of PENNY stores are listed in the app, contributing to saving food from waste. Home delivery partners Bonapp by Munch – reducing food waste The Click & Collect service allows customers to place orders via the PENNY app or by accessing our website, pay online, and collect their order from the store at the selected time. It combines the benefits of online shopping with the speed of in store pickup. | 25 2025 PENNY Card is our loyalty program, bringing together 4.2 million customers who hold either a digital or physical card. Registered customers gain access to an intuitive digital platform, available on both Android and iOS devices. By using the digital PENNY Card with every purchase, customers accumulate loyalty points, which they can use during future store visits to benefit from reduced prices or to participate in prize competitions. In 2025, we continued our strategic partnership with Money in Motion (MiM), the free expense tracking and financial education app developed by Iancu Guda – economist and financial analyst. The shared message – “We save money, not love” – reflects the values that Our retail media services consist of in store and on site segments. Both provide partner brands and suppliers with an integrated communication ecosystem that connects the physical store environment with the digital space, delivering commercial messages where they matter most: close to the purchase decision. PENNY places at the center of its relationship with customers: accessibility, financial responsibility, and care. Through this partnership, we supported a practical tool that helps Romanians reduce waste, save more efficiently, and achieve their financial goals. The app integrates financial planning principles adapted to the everyday realities of Romanian consumers. Stores are assessed based on clear criteria: energy efficiency, responsible water use, equipment management, indoor environmental quality, materials used, and building operation. In the Sustainability Report for the 2024 financial year, we presented the processes adopted and the results achieved in managing our environmental impact responsibly. The report highlights our performance and progress across the three strategic operational sustainability pillars: Assortment; Energy, Climate and Resources; Employees and Society, as well as the role of the guiding pillar Corporate Governance In 2025, we opened the fifth logistics center in the PENNY network. It is the first PENNY warehouse that operates 100% without gas based heating. The warehouse features a heating system based on heat recovery from industrial refrigeration installations, complemented by heat pumps, photovoltaic panels with an installed capacity of 800 kWp for self consumption, an intelligent LED lighting system with presence sensors and adaptive intensity, and integrated energy consumption monitoring through an advanced Building Management System (BMS). 28 | PENNY | REWE GROUP TripleRO is a project through which, together with partners and consumers, we aim to contribute to a society that is three times better for all Romanians and for future generations. To offer customers products of Romanian origin and support the circular economy, we collaborate with an extensive network of partners – 88% of them are Romanian companies, registered in Romania, and their number continues to grow year by year. National Food Collections 2025 We are a strategic partner of the Romanian Federation of Food Banks and consistently support the fight against food waste, as well as initiatives that provide concrete support to vulnerable people. Through active participation in the two editions of the campaign in 2025, we supported communities in need. Community partners World Vision Romania – “I want to be in 9th grade.” In 2025, we continued our collaboration with World Vision Romania by supporting the “I want to be in 9th grade” program – one of the most important initiatives dedicated to reducing school dropout among students from vulnerable communities. We supported 70 students from 6 counties. The students had access to tutoring, career counseling, practice sessions in PENNY stores, equipped school backpacks, and financial support. In addition, in 2025, we donated a total of 5,401 tons of food to the Romanian Regional Food Bank Network, from PENNY stores and logistics centers. Edu Play Bus – learning through play We were the main partner of Edu Play Bus, a unique educational program in Romania, developed by the Oradea Food Bank, which transforms a bus into an educational spaceship where students learn about the planet’s resources through play. Students learned how to reduce resource waste and protect the environment. Hope and Homes for Children – DAR Scholarships We continued our partnership with the Hope and Homes for Children Foundation, an initiative launched in 2023, through which we support children and young people with outstanding results to pursue their dreams and develop their potential. We offer excellence scholarships, learning experiences, and opportunities that open paths to performance in arts, sports, or education. Association for Values in Education (AVE) – School Transformation Program We continued to support the School Transformation Program, a national initiative aimed at improving educational management and contributing to the sustainable development of schools in Romania. 2025

We celebrated 20 years of PENNY in Romania and continued to be present where it matters most: close to our customers and communities. The “Forms of Love” Campaign In an anniversary year, our communication was marked by authenticity and emotion. The Forms of Love campaign, launched in the spring, highlighted the relationships and gestures that bring us closer to customers, colleagues, and communities – a celebration of the authentic values of the PENNY brand. The “From Human to Human” Caravan – 20 years together We set out with the From Human to Human Caravan, a special project through which we visited stores opened 20 years ago and celebrated colleagues with the same length of experience in the team. Each stop was an opportunity to share stories and reconnect with the values that unite us. | 31 2025 Owned events “PENNY Today” #10 We organized the 10th edition of the annual “PENNY Today conference. The event marked a special moment: 20 years of PENNY’s presence on the Romanian market. The edition presented the company’s 2024 financial results and strategic plans for the next 10 years, in a dynamic setting together with our colleagues and representatives of the Romanian media. Launch of the study “Assessment of the Economic and Social Impact of the Retail Sector in Romania” In the Magna Aula of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, we organized the launch event of the study, bringing together representatives of PENNY and the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, industry experts, representatives of associations, 3RO suppliers, and journalists. We presented the progress of our TripleRO initiative, reviewed the results of the published study, and celebrated what we have built together as a team. The “From Human to Human” Podcast The celebratory spirit was complemented by the “From Human to Human” podcast, which brought to 20 years of experience in the team, transforming an internal project into an authentic testimony of what it means to build something lasting together.

32 | PENNY | REWE GROUP Football – partnership, project, and passion We are the main sponsor of all Romanian national football teams, a role we take pride in. In 2025, projects dedicated to football continued to generate emotion and impact at national level. In March, the documentary “Soul Generation” premiered, a three episode mini series capturing defining moments for the national team. Also in 2025, the mural dedicated to “Soul Generation” became a visible symbol of our support for Romanian football, while the “PENNY Village Cup” continued to bring football to rural communities, with tens of thousands of children participating nationwide. The “PENNY Points League” is more than a program – it is a symbol of solidarity and of the impact we achieve when we join forces around a common goal. In 2025, points donated by customers were transformed into over €730,000 worth of sports equipment for children from clubs registered on the platform. Over the more than three years of the“PENNY Village Cup”, donations totaling over €2 million have been made to children’s, junior, and youth clubs across Romania.

| 33 2025 Support for the “The Yellow Tie” film We were pleased to support an exceptional cultural project: „The Yellow Tie film”, dedicated to the great Romanian conductor Sergiu Celibidache. The film brings to the big screen the extraordinary journey of a child from Romania who conquered the world of music through talent and perseverance. Cultural engagement: Grivița 53 Theatre Grivița 53 Theatre is the first theatre built from scratch through a private initiative in Romania. The partnership reflects our commitment to supporting initiatives that create long term value in communities and facilitate access to culture.

We enjoyed events such as Rocanotherworld, Gărâna Jazz Festival, Haferland Week, Codru Festival, and 3 Smoked Olives. We took part in sports events including the Bucharest International Half Marathon by Constantina Diță, Bucovina UltraRocks, Sinaia Mountain Run by Constantina Diță, and Walk15 walking competitions. Awards and recognitions in 2025 2025 was a year in which the work of the PENNY team was recognized in several industry relevant competitions: • At the CSR Awards Gala, we won 1st place in the Cause Related Marketing category for loyalty campaigns carried out together with World Vision Romania; • At the Employer Branding Awards, our internal brand ambassador program “PENNY Voice” won Bronze in the category “Best use of employee generated content in an employer branding campaign”; • At the “We are developing Romania sustainably” Gala, we received the Support for the Future Award, celebrating our ongoing commitment to education and the support provided to young people on their educational journey, alongside World Vision Romania; • At the “Entrepreneur Club” Gala, we were awarded for 20 years of sustainable growth in Romania and for the development of the TripleRO initiative.
